Minnie Driver has joined CBS comedy pilot Happy Life, placing the future of NBC’s About A Boy further in doubt.
The news has many fans worried that About A Boy has been cancelled, though the actress insists that she and the rest of the cast could yet return for Season 3.
Happy Life has a series regular option on Driver should the pilot go to series and About A Boy get cancelled. Driver clarified the situation on Twitter:
Also, yes, I’m doing a pilot for CBS, but within the utterly whacked landscape of Network TV, About a Boy may yet come back [for Season 3]..with all of us.”
