ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy receives additional order of three episodes for season 15, bringing it up to a total of 25! This bodes well for a season 17 renewal for the medical drama (as previously reported – season 16 has already been confirmed). The news was confirmed by the Shondaland’s twitter:

Grey’s Anatomy returns for the second part of Season 15 on Thursday, January 17 at 8 PM on ABC, with season 16 likely to premiere in late 2019.
