NBC has cancelled A.D. The Bible Continues.
The network has decided not to move forward with a second season (the third in the Bible series overall) due to soft ratings.
However, producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey are planning to resurrect A.D. ‘Season 2’ via their upcoming digital channel which is slated to launch late 2016/early 2017.
Stay tuned for any further status updates on A.D. The Bible Continues as it plots a Season 2 revival…
RIP.

I hope they will let us know in advance of any new episodes being shown on TV because I have watched every show. NBC seems to be ridding itself of a lot of great dhows lately and keeping crap. First American Odyssey right in the middle of the story and now A.D. I hope both find homes elsewhere!

I couldn’t agree with you more !! They seem to be keeping all the stupid shows and cancelling the really good and interesting ones ! I wouldn’t of cancelled this show ever !! I mean really, how are you going to cancel ” The Bible ” ???? This show teaches us about what it was like back then when Jesus was alive and then died and resurrected . Yes, a lot of it isn’t facts, but it tells a great story . And I think this kind of show is what people need right now. I hope they bring it back digitally or another network picks it up. I just think it’s messed up that they will keep simple shows but they’ll cancel a show about our history and our God and Jesus . Unbelievable !!!

Another idiotic decision by NBC to cancel a good show.
