Why does this get so much hype in the US? It’s in Portuguese. No one mentions it’s NOT an English Netflix show… nothing wrong with that… but news sites ACTUALLY REPORTING ACCURATE information would be nice.. I mean.. I rarely, if ever, see any reports regarding foreign language films — but oooooo let Neflix release a Portuguese series and all the sites report on it the same as if English speakers could actually understand the show.. .. How come you aren’t posting renewal/cancellations for ALL Portuguese tv??? Huh???

It’s also available in English. Dubbed, but English nonetheless.
Oh, and you sound like an idiot.

poorly sync’ed and acted voice overs hardly qualifies anything as an “English” release. Thinking it does.. is well.. less than intelligent now, isn’t it? …. And it’s not me that “sounds like an idiot” … it’s all these review/news sites that never mention a single thing about the fact the series is a Portuguese series AND it’s pretty much the ONLY foreign language series they’ve ever written content about… merely because it’s Netflix.

I gotta say, I’m from Brazil and this has been probably the first show I’ve seen from here that I really liked… it got me hooked!
So, I get it, it must be annoying watching a show in a language you don’t understand (believe me, I lived in Germany) but I would suggest you to give it a shot with subtitles and see how it goes.
Otherwise, just skip it but the show itself, it really positively surprised me, no bias about it.

And just so you know, this is not a thing here, tv series, brazilian TV is 99% soap operas.
And yeah, wouldn’t hurt them to write in the text “the brazilian show” or something like that to make it clear it’s in portuguese.
